Language Section:

• Language section is qualifying in nature.
• It consists of 02 parts, Part-I and Part-II.
• Part-I: English language (compulsory for all).
• Part-II: Hindi language / Urdu language / Bengali language.
• The candidate has to opt for any one of the three languages.
• Candidate has to obtain a minimum of 30 per cent marks in this paper.
• There is no negative marking for Language Section.

General Studies Section:

• The General Studies section consists of the following subjects:
